About Mary, head trainer
As a Junior, Mary qualified for all the major Equitation Finals on her well known Dutch Warmblood "Jhoncorde" under the tutelage of Debbie Hoyt Banfield and Paul Valliere. After completing her junior years, she went to work for Jay Sargent at Sandy Point Stables in Portsmouth, RI as assistant rider and trainer and David Oliynyk of Oliynyk Show Stables, Inc in Plainville, MA/Wellington, FL as Barn Manager before opening Claddagh Farm.
She was Co-Chairperson of the RIEC for over ten years and is currently a Senior Board Member on the Rhode Island Horseman's Association. Mary is an "NEHC" judge, level "1". Mary was the Head Coach of the UMass Dartmouth Equestrian Team for 8 years, with 4 Cacchione Riders in that time as well as many others that competed at Zones and Nationals.
